Martin L King Parade

Standards of Excellence Academy Director, Sydni Sayles, attended the 2018 Martin L King Parade that took place in the downtown area on January 15th. In attendance were local community leaders like Assemblyman Tyrone Thompson as well as local celebrities like Ms. Black Nevada.

The parade was a huge success and the weather could not have been better for such a joyous event!

Standards of Excellence Academy and Foundation for an Independent Tomorrow (FIT), the non-profit workforce development agency, and the Academy’s sister agency, both attended the Clark County School District Training Panel. The Department of Adult Education invited local agencies to attend the Training Panel to provide information regarding the different educational and employment options available to those in need.

Career & Educational Fair

The Center, serving the LGBTQ community, invited the Academy and Foundation for an Independent Tomorrow (FIT), out to their Career & Education Fair on November 15, 2017 to share their programs with the LGBTQ community.

Charter Schools throughout the US gathered in Las Vegas and we are so pleased that Standards of Excellence Academy could be a part of the community/parent outreach workforce development portion of it.

Career Fair with Adult Ed.

Standards of Excellence Academy came to the Clark County School District Adult Education Program to meet potential students interested in vocational education.

Our Academy’s Director, Sydni Sayles, met many students interested in the Medical and Warehousing industries.
