Youth Leadership Conference for Clark County Department of Family Services
The Academy participated with the 2016 Youth Leadership Conference for Clark County Department of Family Services. The Academy came out to educate the youth on all the various educational options for individuals who are interested in going the college route, but want an education that leads to certification in the medical and warehousing/logistics field. It was nice to meet a great group of kids looking forward to seeing themselves as future Certified Nursing Assistants, Certified Medical Front Office Specialists, Certified Logistics Associates/Certified Logistics Technicians, and Certified Forklift Operators.

Las Vegas Paving Company partnered with Standards of Excellence Academy and Foundation for an Independent Tomorrow (FIT) for a DO IT 4 U training class to help people get into the Union Apprenticeship Program and eligible for a job in the road construction projects that are taking place in southern Nevada.
The program took place at the Standards of Excellence Academy for eight weeks every Saturday from 12 pm to 2 pm and a beautiful graduation ceremony took place on the final day in the FIT great room on Friday, August 27, 2016.
